    Description

    Vintage German style steel scabbard sheath measuring 7.5" long not including the 3.25" leather belt loop.  Very good condition, showing much original finish mixed with some scattered rust spots.  I put extra light on it so you can see the rust, in regular light it is much more subdued.  The steel is dent free and the black leather strap is in very good condition.  Inside the leather is a strip of steel that goes half way to keep straight and riveted in place. A very nice and well made piece.  Appears to be for a German Boot Knife or perhaps a dress bayonet.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
